Many people send me many photo's. That is very nice!!!! However, for me, adding the tube foto's it is a VERY time consuming job to add them to the website. I have to add them all manually as I have no means of adding them in the database. They must be placed in the correct directory for my software to find them and add them to the main tables. Often I have to change the filename, the image size, combine or split images, uploading them from all kind of different folders, etc... So if you send photo's, PLEASE observe the following: 2) The filename should be the exact type number and the filename extension .jpg. If in doubt, check the 'tube-type list' for the filename. (Do not add more types or any other features in the filename.) 3) If you have more then one tube on a single photo, please make sure they have exactly the same type number. (Do not make photo's with different tubes in one image. This results in inconsistent filenames.) 4) Please check if a photo is already present. Only if you feel your's is better, send me a new one... 5) It would be nice if the tube's typenumber is visible. This also allows to verify the filename. |
| But don't take these directions too seriously... I'm happy with any tube picture! |
